Requirements

Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system for the Tipp City, Ohio location
Work on-site in Tipp City, Ohio (Night Shift: 6:30pm - 7:00am EST, rotating weekends)
Report directly to the Site Quality Assurance Manager or Compliance and Food Safety Manager
Coordinate activities for a single shift of a multi-shift laboratory operation open 7 days per week
Directly supervise a team of 3-6 employees and participate in staffing activities
Develop line personnel through staffing, training, mentoring, performance reviews, and assigning challenging responsibilities
Assure lab test results reflect compliance to plant, division, and corporate guidelines and procedures, and that test methods are followed
Engage with employees and stakeholders to meet all EHS requirements, including internal and external regulatory objectives

Responsibilities

Ensure delivery of all key performance metrics including EHS, Quality, Finance, Productivity, and People
Lead efforts to deliver quality and compliance performance for the shift; initiate, manage, and make decisions impacting product quality
Drive a culture of engagement through the team and department
Maintain a safe lab environment
