Requirements

Candidates must possess a graduate degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the GL and accounting department. Strong communication skills for negotiation and reconciliation, a self-motivated and commercially focused approach with a strong client service orientation, confidence in building internal and external relationships, excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, and a flexible attitude to achieve results are essential.

Responsibilities

The Analyst will be responsible for handling all GL-related activities, including managing client calls and assisting with queries. They will prepare year-end financial statements with notes to accounts, schedules, and reports as per revised Schedule III for audits, and liaise with auditors to resolve queries. Responsibilities also include coordinating with auditors for interim audits, preparing monthly and quarterly P&L and Balance Sheets with all required schedules and management reports, and performing monthly analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet items to highlight variances and observations to management. Additionally, the role involves handling GL-related queries via email and phone from OPCO Teams, inter-departmental staff, agencies, and regions, and ensuring SOX compliance.
