2+ years of experience in media research, data & analytics, or related field including paid internships
Experience conducting SQL queries required
Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and deep knowledge/experience in data exploration and data science
Ability to capture and translate data and insights via visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Alteryx)
Experience working in “big data” environments (like Snowflake); Proficiency in SQL and an understanding of complex, large-scale relational databases, statistical programs and other tools (SAS, Python, R, etc.)
Experience with Nielsen (NNTV and NPower) and other content and audience measurement services and tools (WRAP and Lake5)
Expertise in data exploration and/or data science
Strong interest in the content business; a consumer of shows across linear, streaming and social platforms
Candidates must reside within a reasonable distance of Burbank, CA, as this position requires onsite presence four days per week
BA/BS Degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent/related degree is preferred
Responsibilities
Produce and distribute core reports using first- and second-party data
Assist in the design, build, and automation of new reports and dashboards
Conduct exploratory analysis across data sets to illuminate content viewing trends
Provide a deep and ongoing understanding of content performance and audience preferences across linear and streaming
