Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and managing day-to-day activities involving provisioning, instrumentation, facility maintenance and upkeep to optimize laboratory operations
  • Managing laboratory projects end-to-end, from idea through onboarding and installation of new instruments
  • Coordinating laboratory moves for facility projects
  • Ensuring routine and unscheduled equipment maintenance is performed within acceptable timeframes, collaborating with external partners/organizations
  • Collaborating with IT to manage and maintain computer and automation systems, including upgrades and issue resolution
  • Working closely with scientific staff and leaders to ensure efficient operation, improved automation, and workflow process improvements
  • Collaborating effectively with team/project members following procedures, priorities, and timelines
  • Maintaining general laboratory safety standards
