Responsibilities

  • Performs SOX controls testing, providing timely, effective, and prompt SOX testing results
  • Identifies and assesses financial, operational, and compliance risks to accuracy of financial reporting
  • Evaluates design and operating effectiveness of key controls related to financial reporting
  • Maintains accurate and well-organized documentation of testing procedures, results, and supporting evidence
  • Delivers regular reports on SOX testing status to the Associate Director, BCF Hyderabad Lead, for consumption by BCF Executive Director, AD of SOX Methodology & Program Governance, and Leadership team
  • Assists in the development of internal control enhancements, both proactively and in response to internal control deficiencies identified
  • Actively influences the identification of continuous improvement opportunities in the SOX testing processes
  • Holds self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy
  • Articulates material risks and opportunities and takes an active role in designing and executing response or contingency plans
