Position Overview

Designs, develops, and builds analog circuits in advanced process nodes for analog and mixed-signal IPs. This role involves the full design cycle from concept to tape-out, focusing on optimizing circuits for power, performance, area, timing, and yield.

Responsibilities

• Designs floorplans, performs circuit design, extracts chip parameters, and simulates analog behavior models.
• Creates test plans to verify design according to circuit and block microarchitecture specifications.
• Evaluates test results and verifies functionality to optimize circuits.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to report design progress and resolve performance and circuit design issues.
• Optimizes performance, power, area, and reduces leakage of circuits.
• Works with architecture and layout teams to design circuits for best functionality, robustness, and electrical capabilities.
• Knowledge of hardware testing and validation methodologies.

Requirements

• Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience as an analog/mixed-signal IC designer.
  • Experience of bringing designs from concept to tape-out.
  • Hands-on design experience in high-speed serial and/or parallel I/O designs (TX and RX), CDR, DAC/ADC, and PLL/DLL.
• Skills:
  • Excellent debug and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with EDA tools for analog design and verification.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Advantageous Skills:
  • Programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++ for modeling and analysis.
• Education:
  • Electronic Engineering degree.
• Collaboration:
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary research environment with RF and mixed-signal teams.
