Candidates should possess a strong understanding of aircraft maintenance programs, specifically within a designated airframe product line, and demonstrate the ability to interpret and apply Service Bulletins, Advisory Directives, and inspection updates. Experience in supporting sales, underwriting, and marketing departments related to aircraft maintenance is beneficial, along with a proactive approach to identifying material needs and cost-saving opportunities.
The Airframe Product Line Specialist (PLS) will follow a specific manufacturer’s line through all major scheduled inspections at various locations globally, staying current on all relevant documentation. They will support the Sales, Underwriting, and Marketing Departments by providing cost analyses, confirming discounts, and ensuring the accuracy of Airframe templates and Pricing Models. The PLS will also maintain communication with JPL, review vendor quotes, and contribute to the overall cost control of maintenance events by physically attending service facilities and exhausting available resources.
