Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute localised business strategies for air supply in Japan, in consultation with Senior Air Account Managers, to optimise partner relationships
  • Build relationships with locally strategic airline partners, including key decision-makers, and handle day-to-day interactions with portfolio partners primarily in Japan
  • Proactively source, secure, and operationalise more competitive content with strategic/key partners and manage competitor analysis
  • Interpret data on product, service, and solution performance against partners’ needs/expectations to ensure value delivery
  • Assist in creating opportunities (e.g., progress meetings, exploratory meetings) to strengthen local airline partners’ accounts, recommending relevant products and insights
  • Work with Regional Account counterparts to adopt scalable business rhythms for managing regional accounts
  • Identify Expedia Group’s products, services, and solutions that benefit airline partners and present value propositions using data, case studies, and key propositions
  • Learn contract negotiation processes and complete contractual arrangements, partnering with Senior Air Account Managers and/or legal resources
  • Acquire and maintain working knowledge of financial data and commercial constructs
  • Collaborate with Senior Air Account Managers and Directors to deliver Strategic Account Plans and regular business reviews, providing data, market insights, and analysis
  • Contribute insights and best practices to the global Air Partnerships team
  • Manage a select portfolio of regional accounts primarily in Japan and Korea, with potential APAC exposure
