Requirements

The role requires effective collaboration with technical teams and business stakeholders across different operating companies. A strong ability to interpret business goals and analytics requirements, translating them into clear, actionable data quality criteria and plans is essential. Proven experience in data quality, data management, or analytics roles, ideally within supply chain, manufacturing, or a related domain, is necessary. Demonstrated experience in managing supply chain data domains such as Material Master, Vendor Master, and Customer Master records, along with a strong understanding of data quality concepts, profiling techniques, and root cause analysis, is required. Experience with data requirements and preparation methodologies for AI/ML applications or large-scale data initiatives, and navigating data management complexities in a decentralized structure are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The AI Data Analyst will collaborate with data stewards, stakeholders, IT professionals, data engineers, and data scientists to assess data requirements, address quality concerns, and define AI use-case specifications. They will work with engineering teams to validate data during pipeline development and model training, ensuring quality standards and documenting data lineage and rules. The analyst will maintain documentation of analytics requirements, data standards, and best practices for data preparation for AI projects. Responsibilities also include conducting data profiling, cleansing, validation, and root cause analysis to ensure supply chain master data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness. Furthermore, they will translate data quality issues into business impact for non-technical stakeholders and recommend remediation strategies or workarounds.
