Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and minimum of 8 years of experience with writing business/functional requirements and implementing Agile methodologies (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • SAFe (SA) certification

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a strategic product vision that enhances clinical efficiency, supports better member outcomes, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Lead Agile delivery of UM capabilities, partnering with cross-functional teams including clinicians, operations leaders, data scientists, and technologists
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with enterprise goals and measurable value delivery
  • Leverage frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe to guide teams through iterative development and continuous improvement cycles
  • Apply strong analytical and systems-thinking skills to solve problems holistically and drive informed decision-making
  • Partner with engineering, data science, and shared services teams to enable interoperability, automation, and integration that modernize clinical and UM processes
  • Act as a trusted voice of the customer and stakeholders, balancing innovation, compliance, and operational transformation to deliver seamless clinical experiences
  • Communicate customer needs and participate in validation of proposed solutions
  • Collaborate with product owners to continuously develop and communicate the vision for scrum teams and ensure efficient and effective development
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop business cases for Epics/features affecting the Agile Release Train (ART) or Team of Agile Teams, and make decisions on epics/features based on customer needs
  • Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance
  • Collaborate with system and solution architects to assist with decision-making and sequencing of key technical aspects to support new business functionality
  • Represent the needs and desires of the stakeholder community to Agile teams and serve as an expert on the market and customer
