A minimum of 7 years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience is required, along with proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions. Experience collaborating with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services is necessary, as are territory management skills including pipeline building and working with sales counterparts. Travel may be required.
The Solution Consultant will support product sales as a technical and domain expert for a client-facing sales team, developing and positioning product-specific solutions during sales cycles to achieve sales goals. They will lead discovery workshops to understand customer challenges and provide product demonstrations, answer technical and feature questions, and guide strategic programs like customer journey sessions. The role also involves providing feedback to product management on product enhancements, sharing best practices with other Solution Consultants, staying current on competitive analysis, and supporting marketing events.
