Requirements

  • Active CPA license
  • BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience between both public accounting and industry as part of an accounting function
  • Minimum 3-5 years related experience in a family owned business, family enterprise, family office, multi-family office, or wealth management accounting environment catering to UHNW individuals
  • Experience with data conversions, interfaces/integrations, reporting and customization within various ERP systems
  • Experience with multiple entity accounting – some experience with Trusts (revocable, Irrevocable, Grantor, Non-Grantor), Single member LLCs, LPs, Partnerships Interests is preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience with Insurance renewals, bill pay (RAMP, Bill.com, Brex, Expensify and similar tools)
  • Experience using QuickBooks, Intacct and NetSuite and/or other accounting packages
  • Demonstrated management experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience developing and mentoring junior level staff
  • Strong operational and technical accounting background, including ability to research complex technical accounting issues independently
  • Professionalism and discretion in interacting with others
