Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years field service experience in the medical industry with Patient Care Solutions experience required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address any technicalities
  • Good DICOM knowledge on network connectivity for integration of IT solutions – experience with MUSE Cardiology Information System and Telemetry required
  • High work standards with strong sense of accountability and ownership over customer issues and other responsibilities
  • Growth mindset with strong initiative and motivation to learn
  • Strong customer skills and deals tactfully and effectively with differences of opinion
  • A good team player and can work seamlessly with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

  • Maintains all models specific to the Patient Care Solutions (PCS) Modality in the assigned area
  • Perform total system level troubleshooting on complex multi-symptom problems
  • Maintain daily interface with Biomedical Engineers, Clinicians & end-users on equipment status issues, to ensure satisfaction of primary customers
  • Assist in Account Sales visits and identify Sales opportunities and communicate them to account team
  • Assists in the growth and direction of business in his/her assigned area
  • Responsible for Warranty, Installation and PM (Preventive Maintenance) contract cost control
  • Complete all administration tasks on time (e.g., ensure timely completion of Field Modification Instructions and Preventive Maintenance Service inspections documentation for assigned accounts)
  • Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standard, according to the GE Service Quality Policy Statement
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization
  • Identify and report any personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization
  • Ensure timely dispatch closure
  • Ensure completion of all field modifications instructions (FMI) within prescribed timeframe
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
