Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems including FAT/SAT and Equipment Qualification activities
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve the performance of automated systems to ensure consistent product quality and equipment uptime
  • Respond to assembly line equipment repair calls by diagnosing problems and performing necessary repairs
  • Execute and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs for automated equipment
  • Document equipment qualifications, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and parts used to maintain repair history in Asset Management Integrating Global Operations
  • Participate in tiered performance meetings to report on equipment status, escalate issues, and contribute to problem-solving
  • Initiate and complete technical activities for new or improved automated equipment to meet company strategic goals
  • Prepare reports, publish, and make presentations to communicate findings
  • Analyze and solve equipment performance problems using engineering principles, from basic to complex innovative approaches
  • Understand automation engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices, and techniques; develop expertise to become a recognized leader
  • Review and refine spare parts lists to ensure availability of critical components while minimizing inventory costs
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology and industry trends
