Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in English or an equivalent degree with an emphasis on writing, possess at least two years of experience teaching courses at the college or university level, and currently be an instructor or professor at another accredited university.
The Advanced Composition Instructor will deliver engaging and interactive 11-week online courses utilizing various instructional methods and technologies, evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback, host weekly office hours and communicate regularly with students, collaborate with other instructors and the academic team, stay current with industry trends and best practices in online education, work with Campus TAs to create and execute a grading plan, ensure TAs fulfill their responsibilities, attend administrative meetings, contribute to the development of co-curricular activities, and support Campus initiatives and marketing activities.
