Position Overview

The Advanced Analytics Analyst Senior creates statistical models to predict, classify, quantify, and/or forecast business metrics. This role involves designing modeling studies to address specific business issues, determined through consultation with business partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepares analytical data sets in support of modeling studies.
• Builds, tests, and validates statistical models.
• Publishes results and addresses constraints/limitations with high-level business partners.
• Proactively collaborates with business partners to determine identified population segments.
• Conducts trend analytics to identify patterns and predict future trends related to patient care, healthcare costs, and public health.
• Analyzes health data to understand past trends, predict future trends, and make informed decisions to improve patient outcomes and optimize resource allocation.
• Develops actionable plans to enable the identification of patterns related to quality, use, cost, and other variables.

Requirements

• Education: MS, MA, or PhD with a concentration in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, computer science, cognitive science, economics, or operations research.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct experience programming large, multi-source datasets with SAS.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

• Ability to present meaningful results to a business audience.
• Ability to participate collaboratively in a team tasked to produce complex analyses on a rigorous schedule.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present to large multi-disciplinary audiences regularly.
• Substantial analytical experience in the healthcare industry.
• Advanced SQL & SAS skills.
• Oracle Exadata experience.
• Experience analyzing data related to social and behavioral health factors/social determinants of health, particularly in the areas of mental health and substance use disorders.
• Additional skills: Python, Informatica, Tableau, and/or Power BI.

Location

• Seven Fields, PA; Atlanta, GA; Norfolk, VA; Indianapolis, IN; Cincinnati, OH; Grand Prairie, TX (preferred).
• This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance.
• Alternate locations may be considered.
