U.S. person status per ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred)
5+ years of experience including manufacturing work experience within manufacturing operations
Experience working with multiple functions and disciplines in a matrix organization (Operations, Sourcing, Finance, IT, etc.) to build consensus and drive decision making

Understanding of business metrics and P&L
Root cause problem solving skills (5 Why, Fishbone, 6 Sigma, Toyota Kata, etc.)
ERP/MES and other manufacturing systems knowledge/experience (JDE, SAP, LX)
Basic data analytic tools experience (MS Power Platform like PowerBI, Power Apps; Qlikview, Tableau, Grafana, etc.)
Ability to travel up to 30% domestically
Responsibilities
Evaluate, develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes within North American Engineered Fastening facilities to support new products and optimize safety, quality, cost, and productivity
Be a key member of a transformation team driving continuous improvement and site transformation
Assume responsibility for operational improvement workstream(s), including developing a workstream charter, detailed work plan, and identifying operational and financial KPIs
Review/assess operational data and implement action plans to close gaps
Understand operational KPIs to determine appropriate responses to close gaps
Drive operational improvement through Lean standard tools and concepts (Flow, Standard Work, 5S, Visual Management, SMED, Poka-Yoke, PDCA, TPM, etc.)
Coach shop floor-based personnel (makers, supervisors, managers) in new ways of working
Support codification of newly developed approaches, methodologies, and results
Lead and participate in Kaizens and Gemba processes to solve complex manufacturing problems through a structured approach
Develop and prepare formal cost justifications for capital expenditures on equipment and technology
Collaborate with multiple functions (IT, Operations, etc.) on project requirements and deliverables to meet launch deadlines
Project manage and deploy production automation, equipment, and systems focused on the 4 M’s (METHOD, MACHINE, MATERIAL, MAKER)
