Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years office experience preferred
  • Work experience in maintenance procedures preferred
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., generating simple letters, spreadsheets, and creating simple queries)
  • Working knowledge of SAP Financials and Coupa preferred
  • Ability to travel 1-3 trips per year for training
  • No supervisory responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Creating requisitions to order parts and supplies, including special need items
  • Inventory control, including receiving and storing plant supplies, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers
  • Obtaining competitive pricing and most cost-effective shipment of supplies
  • Expediting emergency orders and constantly tracking all pending orders and backordered supplies
  • Researching shipping/receiving discrepancies
  • Entering all shipping/receiving information into the SAP system
  • Maintaining current MSDS files
  • Preparing and copying weekly credit card statements, department and company reports
  • Assisting with weekly and monthly budgets, including verifying documents for reasonableness and interacting with supervisors and management
  • Interviewing vendors, selecting and evaluating vendors for repairs, and researching new products
  • Charging maintenance parts to specific work orders
  • TECO’ing work orders and moving incomplete work orders daily
  • Assigning Tyson vendor numbers
  • Ensuring parts are in proper bins with correct minimum/maximum levels
