Candidates should possess at least 6 months of experience in a customer service or back-office role, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook), and experience in the Healthcare or Medical Industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.
The Administrative Assistant will perform bulk verification of Medicare Cards and Healthcare Identifiers for patients, liaise with receptionists regarding missing data, import and enter external patient clinical correspondence using Best Practice clinical software, manage duplicate patients in Best Practice clinical software via the HotDoc dashboard, update aliases and manage reports related to ex-practitioners, type and send dictated staff file notes, email patient documents, confirm patient email addresses, attend to bounced emails, check incoming reports in Best Practice clinical software, and manage significant ‘Did Not Attend’ patients in HotDoc.
