Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Entry-level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) is required, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Prior experience in acute care, particularly within dialysis, is beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Acute Inpatient Registered Nurse - RN - Dialysis will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. This role involves delegation of tasks to other patient care staff, ongoing collection and analysis of patient data, and documentation in the medical record. The nurse will assess patient learning needs and provide education, recognize and report patient status variations, administer medications, initiate and assist with emergency response measures, and serve as a resource for the healthcare team.
