Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, with a CPA or CMA designation being a plus. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement and accounts payable is required, including over 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Proven experience in procuring software and managing vendor relationships within the SaaS industry is essential. Experience implementing and optimizing ERP/procurement platforms, particularly NetSuite, Tropic, BILL, and Divvy, is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to implement financial software, drive process automation, and improve operational efficiency in finance functions is necessary. A strong understanding of procurement contracts, vendor negotiations, and AP processes is required, along with a track record of successful collaboration with FP&A on budget management and forecasting. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are needed to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
The Procurement & Accounts Payable Manager will develop and implement procurement policies and procedures focused on automation and scalability. They will partner with FP&A and department leaders to forecast purchasing needs, manage budgets, and evaluate vendor proposals, overseeing the full procurement lifecycle from vendor selection to purchase order creation and compliance. This role involves managing vendor relationships to secure favorable terms, leveraging expense software for improved visibility and reduced manual work, and analyzing spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, the manager will oversee the AP cycle, including invoice intake, approval workflows, and payment execution, while implementing automation solutions for invoice capture and payment runs. Ensuring AP processes comply with company policies, GAAP, and internal controls, responding to audit requests, and providing timely AP insights for budget tracking and forecasting are key duties. The manager will also serve as the main point of contact for vendor inquiries and provide cross-departmental AP support.
