Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate on difficult issues, draft emails softly and respectfully while maintaining assertiveness, and discern when written or verbal communication is best
- Ability to quickly and accurately enter data into ERP system and MS Excel
- Ability to perform research to determine appropriate business partners for invoices, vendor set-up, and procure-to-pay issues
- 3+ years of experience as an A/P Associate or similar position
- Preference for Associate degree in Business or Accounting
- Knowledge and experience working with Coupa
- Knowledge and experience working with SAP S/4HANA or similar cloud-based ERP system
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, simple formulas, ERP exports)

Responsibilities
- Review all invoices for assigned vendors to ensure appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Accurately enter vendor invoices and credits
- Review vendor statements for inaccuracies, missing invoices, and credits
- Compare PO, receiving documents, and invoices to ensure purchases have been authorized
- Use knowledge of general ledger codes to follow up with purchaser in case of discrepancy
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment amounts via email/phone and send remittances via email
- Audit and review vendor accounts, verifying receiving dates and documenting chain of custody and date of service
- Maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files
- Assist in physical filing and maintain electronic records
- Prepare accruals each period
- Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
- Work with team to perform workflow analysis and suggest improvements
- Verify payment methods, track changes, and escalate suspected fraudulent activity to Supervisor
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Financial Leadership Team
