Responsibilities
Oversee NA Manufacturing accounting close and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial information for internal stakeholders
Deliver in-depth financial analysis for Goodyear/NA management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and account reconciliations
Ensure business process controls are documented, tested, and compliant with US GAAP and company policies
Drive improvements in inventory costing efficiency and accuracy, while monitoring construction work in progress (CWIP)
Develop and mentor associates through knowledge transfer, succession planning, and performance feedback
Align performance management with business metrics, linking individual goals to compensation and career growth
Advise on new manufacturing processes and assess financial impacts, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal standards
Oversee financial closing and reporting activities across North America’s manufacturing operations
Manage accounting functions and inventory costing accuracy for tire, allied, and chemical plants, ensuring timely financial statement preparation and strong internal controls
Collaborate with the NA Manufacturing Finance Leadership team to drive strategic financial goals and develop team capabilities
