Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting principles
Experience in a manufacturing or production-based environment highly preferred
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a hands-on approach

Responsibilities

Oversee general ledger accounting, month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries
Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth, accuracy, and accountability
Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with finance leadership
Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with audit requirements
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and filing processes
Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost savings, and areas for process improvement
Partner with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions
