Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting principles
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production-based environment highly preferred
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a hands-on approach

Responsibilities

  • Oversee general ledger accounting, month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth, accuracy, and accountability
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with finance leadership
  • Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with audit requirements
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and filing processes
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost savings, and areas for process improvement
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions
