Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience preferably in the Technology and/or Life Science verticals
  • Experience driving the financial close, recording journal entries, preparing financial statements, and assisting with audit PBC preparation
  • Ability to land-and-expand with client project opportunities
  • Able to work as part of a team, or be an individual contributor
  • Take ownership for outcomes and results on projects; be very hands-on
  • Ability to quickly adapt to client’s changing priorities
  • Professional approach to working with and interacting with clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage client accounting staff, if needed, including being a key contact for clients
  • Strong interest in operational accounting and desire to continually increase knowledge and improve skillsets
  • Proficient in the use of typical applications used by accounting professionals, including NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Coupa, Tipalti, Blackline, FloQast, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience with Big 4 experience is highly preferred
  • CPA is highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent required
