Responsibilities

  • Processing and reconciling incoming payments, ensuring accurate application to customer accounts in SAP
  • Supporting efficient operation of the cash application process within the Record to Report (R2R) team
  • Collaborating with Senior Accountant, Treasury, Procure to Pay (P2P), Employee Expense Management, and Intercompany teams for cash flow management
  • Applying principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare internal/external reports
  • Maintaining or overseeing control of accounts and records in areas like disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income
  • Compiling and analyzing financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and verify accuracy
  • Preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules/reports
  • Designing, modifying, installing, and/or maintaining accounting systems for financial transaction recognition
  • Ensuring adherence to and communicating accounting/auditing policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • May handle month-end close, technical support for M&A, technical accounting research, and implementation of new standards
