Requirements

Candidates must be fluent in English and German and possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or have equivalent experience. A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or finance is required, with internships considered. Responsibilities

The Accountant will support the accounting department by handling day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, and preparing and processing journal entries. They will assist with month-end closing activities, such as account reconciliations and financial reporting, and help in the preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities also include processing and verifying expenses, maintaining fixed asset records, assisting with tax filings and compliance, and providing support for audits. The role involves improving accounting processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and resolving accounting-related issues.
