Position Overview

SiliconExpert is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, fostering strong relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will leverage your understanding of our component data intelligence solutions to identify upsell opportunities and meet retention targets.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Manage accounts to ensure positive customer experience, sustained and enhanced customer relationships, and revenue growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Handle renewals, relationship development, training, and upsells by leveraging our solutions, services, and new offerings.
  • Proactive Consultation: Proactively consult and provide renewal and growth quotes to customers, understanding their requirements and ensuring proper order processing.
  • Renewal Tracking: Track non-renewal, pending, and lost renewals, including reasons for cancellation.
  • Client Support: Support the assigned client base, respond timely to customer inquiries, and promptly follow up on customer-related issues.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed assigned renewal rate and retention targets.
  • Sales Planning: Create selling opportunities within assigned customers through a defined sales plan and process.
  • Needs Assessment: Develop an understanding of customer needs and decision-making hierarchies to proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer requirements on an ongoing basis.
  • Revenue Generation: Conduct calls to develop new revenue streams with existing customers by showcasing use cases and communicating the value of our products and services.
  • Product Knowledge: Clearly understand all product offerings, subscription, and renewal licensing models.
  • Solution Selling: Execute solutions selling through knowledge of our offerings, growing profit and maximizing margins by selling value-added, long-term solutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Channel, and technical teams to share, develop, and build global market intelligence, including customer information and market trends.
  • Business Reviews: Conduct quarterly business review virtual visits with at least 50% of assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Account Manager or Customer Service Representative.
  • Previous software customer support experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in German and English.
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
  • A self-motivated and structured work style.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain professional and solution-oriented in challenging situations.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
