Candidates must have 3-5 years of account management or sales experience at a technology company, specifically driving adoption or sales for payments solutions. A proven understanding of payments products and the ability to drive the entire sales cycle in collaboration with existing sales or account management teams are essential. Candidates should demonstrate evidence of working cross-functionally across multiple stakeholders and possess the ability to deal effectively with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment. Strong presentation skills and the capability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements are required, along with the ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions.
The Account Executive will drive adoption of the Payments product to both existing customers and new prospects in targeted segments. They will test market positioning and appropriate selling motions for all Payments-related products at Airwallex. The role involves refining the Go To Market playbook by collaborating closely with Strategy, Revenue Operations, and Product Marketing, as well as providing feedback to the Product team to inform the development roadmap and commercial priorities.
