Candidates must live within the Nashville, TN territory and possess 3-5+ years of relevant sales experience, including a proven ability to identify and close sales opportunities. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with a demonstrated track record of consistent quota attainment and a desire to win. Overall experience selling advertising or complex SaaS/software solutions to business leaders is necessary, along with excellent planning, solutions selling, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Experience in the automotive space or digital marketplace is ideal, as is strong business acumen.
The Account Executive will act as the primary point of contact for Cars Commerce customers, focusing on ongoing success, retention, and growth by selling products and services to existing clients. Responsibilities include maintaining customer relationships through in-person visits within the assigned territory, responding to inquiries, and offering guidance on appropriate products and services. The role involves executing sales strategy, identifying and closing upsell opportunities, preparing reports to communicate value to customers, and demonstrating expertise in retention, sales techniques, and company products/services. The Account Executive must be able to travel at least 75% within the assigned territory to visit prospective customers face-to-face and partner across selling and servicing roles to ensure customers receive maximum value from the Cars Commerce Platform.
