The position is located in Portland, Maine and is hybrid.
Candidates must be a licensed pharmacist with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (preferably with ASHP accredited specialty residency), or a final-year PharmD student with relevant experience, or hold a master’s in public health with health education experience, or be a Doctor of Medicine, or a registered nurse. Additional requirements include strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication skills, interpersonal and teamwork abilities, and experience in virtual environments.
The role involves working well within a diverse team, demonstrating initiative and flexibility, and collaborating with remote partners and teams in a virtual environment.
Strong candidates will have a pharmacy or related healthcare background, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Zoom, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and experience in virtual team settings with a focus on substance use topics like opioid prescribing and PDMP usage.
