Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Business level English and native level Japanese proficiency (both written and verbal)
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in facility management, building operations or related fields
  • Working knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and great team player, with the ability to communicate effectively with impact across functions

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations through vendor management for owned and leased office facilities
  • Develop and execute annual facility and infrastructure maintenance / improvement plans
  • Select, supervise and evaluate external vendors and contractors
  • Monitor and optimize building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) to ensure operational efficiency
  • Manage facility budget and forecast, including cost tracking and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and building regulations
  • Collaborate with global and local facility management teams to align with corporate standards
  • Prepare and deliver facility-related reports and communications in English
