Underwriting experience in the market for personal lines, accidents and health
Experience supporting business planning to reach budget goals
Experience in data entering
Experience analyzing a P&L report
PC skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, ability to learn to run macros), Word, PowerPoint, IE, and Outlook

Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Strong communication skills for open communication and developing peer relations
Capacity to optimize work processes
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and develop financial reports

Responsibilities

Underwrite and participate in business events such as broker visits
Generate competitive proposals that solve client problems, integrating coverage requests and addressing internal and external client concerns
Optimize processes by identifying areas of opportunity to reduce inconsistencies such as delivery times
Create business proposals with well-thought-out products and explain product features to internal and external clients
Perform risk analysis using quote tools through Excel and AIG's online quote platforms to prepare proposals
Follow up on new proposals and analyze renewals to verify adjustments due to claims
Manage policy adjustments (additions and cancellations per insured)
Prepare claims reports and analysis of individual accounts on a monthly basis and as needed
Manage the portfolio impacting P&L, analyzing results of each of the six portfolios for new business or renewals
Oversee external and internal results of lines impacting A&H results in the company's P&L under US GAAP
Participate and collaborate in day-to-day business to develop the portfolio of commercial accounts and support the underwriting process for production and profitability goals
