This is an in-person role at the UC Law campus in San Francisco.
Instructors must teach four periods of Identity & Empowerment content, follow provided lesson plans, meet lesson objectives, hold students to high expectations, and use protocols for student-driven discussion and group work.
Instructors work Saturdays from 9:00am-4:00pm (about 6 standard hours including a 50-minute lunch), plus up to 4 flex hours weekly for prep, grading, and communication, totaling a maximum of 10 hours per week.
Strong candidates are passionate educators who can implement a rigorous college-prep curriculum using a student-centered approach, serve as coaches and facilitators, and promote depth of understanding and skill acquisition.
