Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship
Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

Work on PCBA and wire harness design for surgical robotics, following the design process including requirements, schematics, layout, build, test, and peer reviews
Gain experience working on a project in Systems Engineering
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test electrical systems for new medical devices, involved in the entire product lifecycle from concept to production
Assist in the development and integration of robotic components and systems to enhance functionality and precision of medical devices
Conduct research and feasibility studies to explore innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges
Participate in the prototyping and testing of electrical circuits and systems, working with senior engineers to refine designs and ensure reliability
Support the documentation of design processes, test results, and technical specifications for regulatory compliance and future reference
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth project progression
