Undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Previous experience or formal training with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to ask questions and engage in discussions with team members and other internal contacts
Ability to work outdoors, walk and climb over rough terrain while carrying up to 40 pounds, and travel as needed for construction administration and site inspections/visits
Must be at least 21 years of age by May 30, 2026, and in possession of a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Ability to complete and pass any background, security, and drug test requests required by TKDA, clients, and state and/or federal agencies

Responsibilities

Work alongside civil engineers and technicians on active projects for site planning, roadway, utility, parking lot, grading and drainage, storm water management, and track design projects
Contribute to the development of preliminary and final designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Perform calculations for project dimensions and elevations as well as earthwork, utilities, and track quantities
Assist with preliminary site assessments and surveys
Assist with construction administration responsibilities by working closely with other team members to provide information and feedback on the construction status of projects and any potential construction or design-related challenges that may arise
Operate a motorized vehicle to conduct business on behalf of TKDA as needed
