Requirements

  • Pursuing an MBA in Finance and Economics or a related quantitative field from an accredited business school, or an equivalent advanced degree
  • Must be able to begin full time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2027 – August 2027
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited MBA program during the Autumn 2026 term (August 2026–December 2026)
  • Business proficient in German
  • Fluent in English; fluency in additional European languages highly desirable
  • Completion of MBA or equivalent advanced degree expected between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Preference for field of study with exposure to finance/capital markets and macroeconomics, or aligned business experience
  • Professional experience in European countries desirable
  • Available for the full internship duration: Monday, June 8 – Friday, August 14, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Building and developing client relationships
  • Monitoring portfolios and communicating strategies
  • Providing information about performance attribution, market performance, and macroeconomic conditions
  • Outlining the Firm’s current outlook and strategy
  • Developing investment objectives
  • Educating clients about a broad set of investment strategies, products, and services
  • Contributing to the Firm’s overall investment strategy and economic outlook development process
