Requirements

  • MRP/ERP experience, JDE a plus
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents, technical procedures or operating procedures
  • Knowledge of basic manufacturing operations and process flows
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • 5+ years of manufacturing scheduling experience
  • APICS certification preferred
  • U.S. person status (per ITAR regulations: U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze MRP output for manufactured products and create/maintain work orders
  • Report and escalate production concerns and part shortages
  • Provide a monthly production plan that reflects plant capacity and customer demand
  • Adjust MRP parameters such as lot size, planning periods, Min/Max quantities, etc. optimizing production flow and reducing material handling
  • Work across departments to understand critical work requests ahead and behind targets to mitigate risks to schedule and customer on time delivery
  • Provide scheduling and delivery updates to customer service reps and others on an as needed basis
  • Additional duties as required, within the realm of planning and supply chain management
