Requirements

Minimum of 2 months' experience in a machining, manufacturing, or warehouse environment or industry certification
Ability to work well with others
Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English
General knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint
Ability to adhere to safety procedures
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Must successfully complete a background, drug, and medical screening

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, stage, and organize materials in the yard
Collect, break down, and dispose of wood pallets, scrap wood, and other yard waste according to company processes
Load and unload trucks, trailers, or containers as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard, ensuring clear pathways and proper material storage
Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
Assist with inventory counts, material tracking, and documentation of material movement
Perform activities associated with managing waste and recycling streams
Follow standard operating procedures and area-specific work instructions
Support other yard or warehouse tasks as assigned to ensure smooth overall operation
Submit and assist with the resolution of Continuous Improvement Cards
Assist in problem-solving and improvement initiatives across departments
Occasionally participate in training and development
Perform any other assigned duties
