8+ years of experience in a workplace services environment (with knowledge of commercial kitchen and pantry equipment)
Critical thinker with a practical understanding of structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems specific to food service environments
Strong professional network in the workplaces services and hospitality industry and expertise managing third-party vendors and service partners
Flexible and reliable team player who can work the occasional early morning and evening hours (with some notice)
Excellent written and verbal communicator; can speak comfortably in a large group
Take a hands-on, highly collaborative approach to your work
Fluent in English and Cantonese

Responsibilities

Manage workplace operations, including janitorial, building maintenance, pest control, kitchen equipment and pantry equipment across cafes and food service areas, ensuring optimal performance and uninterrupted operations
Liaise with parties involved in designing, building and managing amenity spaces (e.g., food service operators, consultants, architects, engineers, project managers, facilities managers, equipment suppliers and manufacturers) to meet diverse operational and design needs
Involved in the construction process for new spaces—from demolition through punch list and operation
Manage ongoing maintenance programme and vendor partners to maintain operational excellence and sanitation standards
Budget planning and managing vendors, contractors and external suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and value for money
Coordinating equipment deliveries, inspections, installations and commissioning with appropriate teams across Jane Street
Mentoring and leading a team (including outsourced providers) to deliver excellent service
Proactively identifying and resolving workplace issues and challenges
Creating and supporting a positive, inclusive and vibrant workplace culture that encourages relationships and supports employee wellbeing
