Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, HRIS, or a related field. A Workday HCM or Workday Time Tracking certification is required, along with 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or financial software. Experience gathering business requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software is highly desired, as is 2+ years of Workday Time Tracking implementation experience. Strong communication and presentation skills, along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Principal Consultant will act as a Workday Time Tracking and Scheduling product expert, guiding clients through the entire implementation lifecycle from transformation to operation. Responsibilities include becoming an expert in Workday Time Tracking and Scheduling design, configuration, testing, and implementation. The consultant will recommend solutions based on client requirements, budget, and timeframe, and lead facilitated design sessions to make configuration decisions based on best practices. They will support clients through system transfers, manage multiple tasks under limited direction, and keep clients and project teams informed of progress. Collaboration with the integration team for testing integrations between Workday and payroll/benefits providers is essential. The role may involve taking a leadership position, acting as a Collaborative or Workday Product Partner Lead, and performing hands-on software tasks such as data loading, tenant configuration, business process configuration, and security setup. Data conversion and mapping using iLoads will also be a key responsibility.
