Requirements

Candidates should have 2-5+ years of ERP or SaaS payroll implementations and configuration update experience, with Workday Payroll implementation experience being preferred. Demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Financials Management is required, along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. A passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration, coupled with strong communication and presentation skills, is essential. Minimal travel is required, but willingness to travel on-site if needed is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Workday Payroll Principal Consultant will bridge the gap between business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems and guiding clients through Workday implementation phases. They will become a Workday Payroll product expert, partner with clients to understand pain points and improve processes, and architect Workday Payroll solutions considering cross-functional impacts. The consultant will recommend solutions based on client requirements, guide customers through design sessions and configuration decisions, and support clients throughout project phases. They will also perform multiple tasks under limited direction, keep stakeholders informed of project progress, and work with the integration team to configure and test integrations between Workday and client payroll/benefits providers.
