Requirements

  • Proficient in using video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro
  • Experience creating content using tools like Canva, Lightroom, or Photoshop
  • Demonstrated ability to write, communicate, and organize effectively
  • Previous experience in creating engaging content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts
  • Strong understanding of current social media platforms and trends
  • Ability to work both collaboratively in teams and independently on projects
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from January 2026 through June 2026
  • Fully available for the duration of the internship, 18 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Chicago, Illinois area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work in Chicago, Illinois area
  • Provide a portfolio link on résumé (applications without it will not be fully considered)

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorming, filming, and editing short-form video content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Planning and executing monthly content calendars aligned with brand themes such as community, legacy, empowerment, and storytelling
  • Researching and identifying emerging trends, sounds, and hashtags to boost reach and engagement
  • Designing social media graphics, captions, and storytelling series
  • Managing engagement through comments, DMs, and tagging, while identifying audience insights and growth opportunities
  • Capturing behind-the-scenes content during interviews, events, and shoots
  • Analyzing post performance to optimize strategy
