Requirements

High school diploma or GED
At least 3 years of experience working in the electrical field
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Ability to perform repetitive operations (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. (with or without reasonable accommodation)

Responsibilities

Wire and route harnesses neatly with or without the use of wire loom, according to CSA standards
Understand the difference between AC and DC voltages and accurately and timely perform all wiring duties on sub panels, door devices, and enclosures
Perform all other duties accurately and meet scheduled deadlines
Perform any other duties assigned by Team Lead, Supervisor, and Section Manager
Understand the usage of hardware such as screws, bolts, nuts, washers, etc. according to CSA Procedures Manual
Wire sub-pans, door devices, and other pertinent power equipment with minimal supervision according to Caterpillar Switchgear Americas (CSA) standards and drawings
