Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 3 years of experience working in the electrical field
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods (with or without reasonable accommodation)
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations (with or without reasonable accommodation)
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. (with or without reasonable accommodation)

Responsibilities

  • Wire and route harnesses neatly with or without the use of wire loom, according to CSA standards
  • Understand the difference between AC and DC voltages and accurately and timely perform all wiring duties on sub panels, door devices, and enclosures
  • Perform all other duties accurately and meet scheduled deadlines
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Team Lead, Supervisor, and Section Manager
  • Understand the usage of hardware such as screws, bolts, nuts, washers, etc. according to CSA Procedures Manual
  • Wire sub-pans, door devices, and other pertinent power equipment with minimal supervision according to Caterpillar Switchgear Americas (CSA) standards and drawings
