Requirements

Hands-on experience with VMWare ESXi, vROPS, SRM, SCCM, SCOM, Windows 2012 - 2019, McAfee/Trellix
Hands-on experience with HP C7000 Blade chassis and interconnect modules
Hands-on experience with scripting using PowerShell / PowerCLI
Understanding of Microsoft AD, DNS, and GPO
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues
Understanding of a broad spectrum of technologies including Windows 2008 to 2019, VMware ESXi
Great customer service and communication skills
Keen interest in innovation and willingness to implement new ways of working and automation
Flexible working ethic and pragmatic approach to IT support
Ability to work onsite 5 days a week

Responsibilities

Perform daily checks
Carry out patching for Windows and VMware
Provide BAU (Business As Usual) support
Deliver assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project
Manage and troubleshoot ESXi, Windows servers, clusters, and associated technologies to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Participate as part of a team and maintain good relationships with team members, internal teams, eco partners, and the customer
Work without direction and with customer-nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks
Deliver part of a detailed technical design that meets customer requirements
Maintain documentation for systems
