Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with VMWare ESXi, vROPS, SRM, SCCM, SCOM, Windows 2012 - 2019, McAfee/Trellix
  • Hands-on experience with HP C7000 Blade chassis and interconnect modules
  • Hands-on experience with scripting using PowerShell / PowerCLI
  • Understanding of Microsoft AD, DNS, and GPO
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues
  • Understanding of a broad spectrum of technologies including Windows 2008 to 2019, VMware ESXi
  • Great customer service and communication skills
  • Keen interest in innovation and willingness to implement new ways of working and automation
  • Flexible working ethic and pragmatic approach to IT support
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily checks
  • Carry out patching for Windows and VMware
  • Provide BAU (Business As Usual) support
  • Deliver assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project
  • Manage and troubleshoot ESXi, Windows servers, clusters, and associated technologies to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Participate as part of a team and maintain good relationships with team members, internal teams, eco partners, and the customer
  • Work without direction and with customer-nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Deliver part of a detailed technical design that meets customer requirements
  • Maintain documentation for systems
