Requirements

Previous general maintenance experience or equivalent school training documented in work history/resume
Willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job (standing, walking, bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, pushing, stooping, squatting, reaching) with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to lift 40+ pounds frequently
Ability to tolerate climates ranging from very cold to very hot and very dusty
Ability to climb up and down stairs and ladders
Valid state driver's license
Motor vehicle requirements: 18 years of age, no DUI/DWI within the last 12 months (official MVR checked post-offer)
Ability to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively
Knowledge to repair trucks, rebuild transmissions, rear ends, and motors

Responsibilities

Diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment
Comply with Department of Transportation rules and regulations
Maintain a safe work environment
Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
Perform other duties as tasked by administration
