Requirements

  • Previous general maintenance experience or equivalent school training documented in work history/resume
  • Valid State Driver's License (18 years of age, no DUI/DWI within last 12 months; official MVR checked post-offer)
  • Ability to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively
  • Willing and able to perform physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, pushing, stooping, squatting, reaching, lifting 40+ pounds frequently, climbing stairs/ladders
  • Ability to tolerate climates from very cold to very hot and very dusty

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment
  • Comply with Department of Transportation rules and regulations
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Repair trucks, rebuild transmissions, rear ends, and motors
  • Perform other duties as tasked by administration
