Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Mig and stick welding vocation training (desired, but not required)
Ability to pass an internal welding test
Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints
Proficiency with air, power, and hand tools, including torches and grinders
Mechanical inclination
Ability to stand, crouch, and/or bend for 10+ hours per day
Ability to lift a maximum of 40 lbs
Ability to use overhead crane for larger items
Ability to perform repetitive motion – tightening bolts and nuts

Responsibilities

Welding and fabrication of conveyor components
Compliance with all safety rules and regulations
Utilization and embrace of lean manufacturing activities and other cost reduction activities
Performing other duties as assigned
Working assigned shift and overtime as needed (including weekends)
1st shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Thursday); Friday overtime expected
