High school diploma or equivalent experience
0-2 years of manufacturing experience
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (with assistance) and 40-100 lbs
Good mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and understand blueprints, order acknowledgements, and written instructions
Recognition of potential safety hazards and taking appropriate actions
Ability to safely and efficiently operate welding equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes
Understanding of and compliance with verbal and written instructions
Ability to function as a team member and contribute to group goals

Responsibilities

Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
Operate various types of welding machines (Short arc, stick, FCAW on X1050, T-1, etc.) on various materials
Operate stationary and/or portable grinders and pneumatic chipping hammers
Operate material handling equipment to move parts and materials
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, templates, and patterns
Access computer terminals
Comply with TEREX Utilities quality standards through error prevention and zero defects
Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
Perform other functions as needed
