Requirements

Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, hold an active and unrestricted medical license in New York State, and preferably have an Immediate Post-Licensure Certification (IMLC). They should have at least three years of post-residency work experience, be board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine, and demonstrate comfort treating pediatric and behavioral health patients. Familiarity with telemedicine and a tech-savvy approach are also required.

Responsibilities

The Weekend Primary Care Physician will deliver text-based and video-based, comprehensive clinical care encompassing acute care to patients on demand within a virtual setting, educate patients on appropriate treatments and care plans, prescribe medication and refills as needed, and focus on driving high-quality care with a patient-centered approach. They will also provide extended and after-hours care, and contribute to elevating remote care by offering compassionate and meaningful care.
